The use of consumption tubers as planting material that lasts for a long time can result in transmission of the virus from generation to generation. The use of seeds in the form of True Shallot Seed (TSS) botanical seeds is one alternative that can be developed to improve the quality of seed onions. The use of seeds in the form of shallot seeds as planting material is still experiencing problems, namely the length of the nursery. A purpose of this study was to obtain the concentration of gibberellin solution and the best immersion time on the growth of onion seedlings (Allium ascalonicum L). The study was carried out using a single factor experimental method arranged in a Completely Randomized Design. The treatments tested were gibberellin concentrations consisting of 4 levels, namely 2, 4, 6 and 8 ppm which were soaked for 12 and 24 hours each treatment repeated 3 times and each replication consisted of 3 sample plants and 2 destructive plants. The observed variabel were germination, vigor index, plant height, leaf number, leaf area, seed fresh weight and seed dry weight. The results showed that the concentration of 4 ppm gibberellin solution with 24-hour immersion time was able to increase the growth of Tuk-tuk varieties on seedlings.en_US
