| dc.description | Napak Tilas is a history education and sport event that introduce one of the cultural and tourism object in Yogyakarta, Sandi Museum. This event portrayed how the Sandi warriors had moved to places due to the emergency and unsafe situation. The route used at this event is the same as the route used by the Sandi man when moving from Yogyakarta to Kulon Progo.
This research purpose is to find out how is the Napak Tilas event management. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, while the data collection techniques are carried out by in-depth interview and documentation. The object in this research is committee from the Sandi Museum, which is also the organizer of the Napak Tilas event.
This research discover that the Napak Tilas event had the potential to become a promotion media for Sandi Museum to increase its visitor. The purpose of this event is to introduce Sandi Museum to the wider society. This event is categorized as sport and also history because it reminds of the independence warrior, Mr. Roebiono Kertapati. The uniqueness of this event is the inter-district 23 km long march as well as education about the coding used during the war and present time. This event could increase the interest in visiting Sandi Museum. The event management starting from planning, implementation and evaluation has been carried out by the committee. The chosen theme used for this event is in accordance with the purpose of the Napak Tilas event. | en_US |
