Thailand is a country in the form of a kingdom with a majority population adhering to Buddhism and Islam being a minority. With these conditions Muslims find it difficult to get halal food, then Dr. Winai Dahlan grandson of Muhammadiyah founder KH Ahmad Dahlan conducted research at Chulalongkon University and Thailand then established The Halal Science Center (HSC-CU) as an institution that studies about halal labels. Thailand uses the halal label certification program as a label in the field of tourism and food industries owned by Thailand. CICOT or the Central Islamic Concil of Thailand which is owned by Thailand is a non-governmental organization which has the authority to certify halal products in Thailand. Thailand issued a platform entitled Hal-Q which is a combination of a halal safety system and halal standards that are combined to provide halal, hygienic, and guaranteed quality food for Muslims who consume them.
