| dc.description | This research aims at finding out the description of career consultation strategy
for Grade XII students of SMA Muhammadiyah 7 Yogyakarta. This research used
qualitative method with observation, interview and documentation. The informants of this
research were the School Principal, counseling teachers, and students with the following
criteria: have not decided to select future study program, class leaders, high achieving,
and selected by gender. The research would discuss the career consultation strategy
using the concept of a book written by W.S. Winkel to see the reality whether SMA
Muhammadiyah 7 has implemented the ideal suggested theories: 1) basic orientation, 2)
career consultation outside class, 3) career consultation inside class. It can be concluded
from the research result that: 1) the counseling teachers in SMA Muhammadiyah 7
Yogyakarta have implemented the career consultation inside the class by providing
classical consultation although it is held outside the schedule due to the counseling class
session removal. 2) The students’ response towards the consultation strategy of SMA
Muhammadiyah 7 Yogyakarta indicates that it has helped them, but the information

| dc.description.abstract | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui mengenai gambaran strategi bimbingan
karier untuk kelas XII di SMA Muhammadiyah 7 Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini
menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan
dokumentasi. Adapun informan yang akan diwawancarai yaitu kepala sekolah, guru BK
dan siswa dengan memiliki kriteria diantaranya yaitu siswa yang belum menentukan
program studi, ketua kelas, siswa yang berprestasi dan ditentukan oleh gender. Peneliti
akan membahas tentang bimbingan karier menggunakan konsep dari buku W.S. Winkel
untuk melihat realitas apakah di SMA Muhammadiyah 7 sudah menerapkan teori ideal
dari buku W.S. Winkel dengan teori berikut ini : 1) Orientasi dasar 2) Bimbingan karier
diluarkelas, 3)Bimbingankarier didalamkelas. Berdasarkan temuan dapatdisimpulkan
bahwa (1) Guru BK di SMA Muhammadiyah 7 Yogyakarta menerapkan bimbingan
karier di dalam kelas dengan bimbingan klasikal meskipun itu tidak terjadwal
dikarenakan jam masuk BK dihilangkan (2) Mengenai tanggapan siswa strategi
bimbingan dan konseling yang dilaksanakan di SMA Muhammadiyah 7 Yogyakarta
sudah membantu siswa tetapi informasi yang disampaikan guru BK kurang efektif,
kurangupdatedandisampaikantidakmenyeluruhkepadaseluruhsiswa. | en_US |
