dc.descriptionSpeed offroad lately has been widely developed, various types and types of vehicles that are used one that began a lot of demand, namely Suzuki Katana SJ40. This is evident in the second round of the speed offroad championship at Serang Banten (May 19-20). Various components of the Suzuki Katana SJ40 vehicle need to be identified and changed. Components that need to be changed are starting from disc brakes, discs, calipers, flatness of discs, piston calipers, drum brake pads, brake shoe ties and brake masters. This is done in this research, which is analyzing the components of the Suzuki Katana SJ40 braking system. Based on the results of the analysis that has been done, there are many components in the braking system that must be changed or changed in the braking component such as replacing the brake component, like a 1.5mm disc brake lining of the seat plate, 1 mm drum brake shoes, the piston seal is hard and broken , the brake shoe lock has rusted and the master seal calipers are broken and harden_US
dc.description.abstractSpeed offroad belakangan ini telah banyak berkembang, Berbagai jenis dan tipe kendaraan yang digunakan salah satu yang mulai banyak peminatnya yaitu Suzuki Katana SJ40. Hal ini seperti yang terlihat pada putaran ke 2 kejurnas speed offroad di Serang Banten (19 - 20 Mei). Berbagai komponen pada kendaraan Suzuki Katana SJ40 ini perlu dilakukan identifikasai dan perubahan. Komponen yang perlu dilakukan perubahan mulai dari kampas rem cakram, cakram, kaliper, kerataan cakram, piston kaliper, kampas rem tromol, pengikat sepatu rem dan master rem. Hal yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini, yaitu melakukan analisa pada komponen sistem pengereman Suzuki Katana SJ40. Berdasarkan hasil analisa yang telah dilakukan, ada banyak komponen pada sistem pengereman yang harus dilakukan perubahan atau peggantian di komponen pengereman seperti mengganti komponen rem, sperti kampas rem cakram 1,5mm dari plat dudukan, sepatu rem tromol 1 mm, seal piston sudah keras dan pecah, pengunci sepatu rem sudah berkarat dan seal master kaliper pecah serta keras.en_US
