dc.description | the volume of waste, especially in the Jogjakarta area, which is brought to the Final Disposal Site every day reaches 260 tons, this number is not in accordance with the population that should be around 225 tons per day, resulting in swelling of the volume of waste as much as 45 tons per day. Therefore, it is necessary to recycle waste, especially plastic. Then a plastic melter machine was designed to reduce this problem. This research method includes designing, building, and analyzing the strength of the framework of a plastic melter machine with a 12 kg load using the autodesk inventor stress analysis software, so it can be seen several parameters including von misses stress, diplacement, and factory safety. This plastic melter machine frame has a medium carbon steel frame specifications box profile with a size of 30 X 30 X 2 mm and has a frame length = 50 cm width = 70 cm height = 158 cm. The results of the analysis of von misses = 64.04 MPa diplacement = 0.6346 mm and the safety factor on the plastic melter machine frame is at 3.23. The safe construction limit for minimum static loads = 1.25-2 and dynamic loads 2-3. Thus the design of the plastic melter machine is declared safe in receiving dynamic and static loads | en_US |
dc.description.abstract | volume sampah khususnya didaerah Jogjakarta yang dibawa ke Tempat Pembuangan akhir setiap harinya mencapai 260 ton, jumlah ini sangat tidak sesuai dengan jumlah penduduk yang seharusnya sekitar 225 ton perhari sehingga terjadi pembengkakan volume sampah sebanyak 45 ton perhari. Maka dari itu diperlukan alat daur ulang sampah khususnya plastik. Maka dirancang mesin plastic melter guna mengurangi masalah tersebut. Metode penelitian ini meliputi mendesain, membangun, dan menganalisis kekuatan rangka mesin plastic melter dengan beban 12 kg menggunakan software autodesk inventor stress analysis maka dapat diketahui beberapa parameter yang meliputi von misses stress, diplacement, dan safety factory. Rangka mesin plastic melter ini memiliki spesifikasi rangka baja karbon sedang profil kotak dengan ukuran 30 X 30 X 2 mm dan memiliki panjang rangka = 50 cm lebar = 70 cm tinggi = 158 cm. Hasil analisis dari von misses = 64,04 Mpa diplacement = 0,6346 mm dan safety factor pada rangka mesin plastic melter berada diangka 3,23. Batas kontruksi aman untuk beban statis minimal = 1,25 – 2 dan beban dinamis 2-3. Dengan demikian desain mesin plastic melter ini dinyatakan aman dalam menerima beban dinamis dan statis. | en_US |
