dc.description | Latar Belakang :Pengembangan karier merupakan upaya peningkatan kemampuan dan keahlian pribadi untuk mencapai suatu jenjang yang lebih tinggi. Pengembangan karier identik dengan pelatihan, peningkatan pendidikan, mutasi dan promosi jabatan. Dalam suatu organisasi indikator untuk sebuah motivasi dan komitmen karyawan dapat dilihat dari keberhasilan penerapan pengembangan karier terhadap karyawan.
Tujuan Penelitian: memiliki tujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pengembangan karir terhadap motivasi dan komitmen kerja perawat di RS PKU Muhammadiyah Bantu.
Metode:Penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan rancangan penelitian crosssectional. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 84 perawat yang berada di bangsal rawat inap. Metode pengambilan data melalui kuisioner dan analisis data menggunakan perangkat lunak Partial Least Square (PLS).
Hasil dan Pembahasan :Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan karir berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi (t-hitung 7,616), terhadap komitmen (t-hitung 3,324) dan motivasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap komitmen (t-hitung 5,722,) sedangkan pada koefisien jalur menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh langsung dari pengembangan karir terhadap komitmen lebih besar dari pengaruh tidak langsungnya.
Kesimpulan:Tingkat motivasi dan komitmen kerja perawat di RS PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul dapat ditingkatkan melalui pendekatan implementasi manajemen pengembangan karier yang baik. | en_US |
dc.description.abstract | Background: Career development is an attempt to upgrade the competence and personal expertise to achieve a higher level. Career development is identical with training, education, employment transfer and promotion. In an organization the indicators for employee motivation and commitment can be measured with good management of the career development implementation to employees.
Research Purposes: This study aims to analyze the effect of career development on nurses motivation and work commitment in PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul Hospital.
Method:This study was quantitative descriptive study with cross-sectional research design. The sample of this study was 84 nurses in the inpatient ward. Methods of data collection through questionnaires and data analysis using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using Partial Least Square (PLS) data analysis.
Result:The results showed that career development had a positive effect on motivation (t-value 7,616), commitment (t-value 3,324) and motivation had a significant effect on commitment (t-value 5,722) while in path coefficient showed that the direct effect of career development toward commitment was greater than its indirect influence. Conclusion:The level of motivation and work commitment of nurses in PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul Hospital can be improved through a good approach of career development implementation. | en_US |
