dc.descriptionPROFIT FUNCTION ANALYSIS OF SEMI ORGANIC PADDY FARMING IN BANTUL REGENCY. HAFAZ GITA KENCANA. (Supervised by NUR RAHMAWATI & LESTARI RAHAYU). Bantul Regency is one of the regency in Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta that the farmers develop semi organic paddy farming. In the development, the farmers have the purposes, they are minimize chemical input, produce semi organic paddy that have more value and get the maximize profit. In the maximize profit of semi organic paddy farming, it is not only influenced by output and the price of the grain per kilograms but also influenced by the price of input. This study aims to describe input prices, costs and profit of semi organic paddy farming and determine the factors that influence to the profit of semi organic paddy farming in Bantul Regency. The research was carried out in the Subdistrict of Pandak, Sewon and Imogiri. The sampels were taken by sensus to the 48 semi organic paddy farmers and the data collection was conducted by interview and questionnaire. The analysis was done by Cobb-Douglas profit function with the model Unit Output Price (UOP). The results showed that the highest cost was labor outside the family Rp 488.691 with 7,94 Working Day People and the labor Rp 61.548/WDP. The profit of semi organic paddy was Rp 2.237.083 per farming (1.766 m2) per palnting season. The factors that influence positively to the profit of the semi organic paddy farming are the price of manure and land area. The factor that influences negatively is the price of ZA.en_US
