| dc.description | The increasing number of potential hazards in Indonesia and the rapid construction such as houses, buildings, and school buildings that have a little concern over the quality of buildings and environmental conditions make these buildings potentially vulnerable to multi-hazard threats. This research aims to assess the multi-hazard potentials including; tsunami, flood, wind, fire, earthquake, and landslide at school buildings. The research location is in the Kretek Subdistrict, Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta Province. This research was initiated on a field survey and then observations on the school buildings and the surrounding environment are conducted, which was continued by interviewing the school staff and filling out Visus forms. From the results of this research, data obtained shows that almost all schools researched have the potential to be affected by the multiple hazards as mentioned above. | dc.description.abstract | Banyaknya potensi bahaya yang ada di Indonesia dan pesatnya pembangunan seperti rumah, gedung, maupun bangunan sekolah yang kurang memperhatikan kualitas bangunan dan kondisi lingkungan sekitar sehingga menjadikan bangunan-bangunan tersebut berpotensi rawan terhadap ancaman multi bahaya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menilai potensi multi bahaya yang meliputi ; tsunami, banjir, angin, kebakaran, gempa, dan longsor pada bangunan sekolah. Lokasi penelitian berada di Kecamatan Kretek, Kabupaten Bantul, Provinsi Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini dimulai dari survei lapangan, lalu dilakukan pengamatan terhadap bangunan sekolah dan lingkungan sekitarnya, wawancara kepada pihak sekolah, dan pengisian formulir Visus. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan data-data bahwa sekolah yang diteliti hampir semuanya berpotensi terkena dampak multi bahaya seperti tersebut diatas.
