dc.description | Yogyakarta international airport is new airport was built on August 2018 in Kulon Progo. This construction done because Adi Sutjipto airport located in Yogyakarta city can not developed and accommodate passengers and flight has been increased rapidly. Runway is a component that is very important and main of the airport, where aircrafts take off and landing on top. In this contruction project of the airport using FAA method for flexible pavement planning wield FAARFIELD and CBR subgrade is 6%, got thick total of 36,2 inchi and PCN value is 93,7 /F/C/X/T used COMFAA for critical aircraft B777-300ER. Therefore needed an analysis of the calculation thickness flexible pavement plan of runway using other methods as a comparison of existing plans, so that it can be determined more efficiently. In this research using CBR method from U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for flexible pavement planning so can be compared both the result. Base on the manual calculation report of CBR method with the same soil data got thick pavement result total is 50 inchi. As for based strength the thickt pavement using COMFAA software got PCN value is 90,5/F/L/H/U with critical aircraft B747-400ER as heaviest aircraft.
