dc.descriptionBackground: Toddler or under five years is a golden period where children need nutritional adequacy to support their physical growth. Toddlers are still very dependent on parents who play a direct role in nurturing and caring for children such as giving parenting patterns that can affect the nutritional status of toddler. Objective: To find out whether there is a relationship between the family parenting on nutritional status of children under five in RW 01 Karangwaru Village Tegalrejo District Yogyakarta. Research Methods: The sample in this study were families with toddler 6 month - 5 years old which amounts to 55 toddlers. The instrument used in this study is a parenting questionnaire to find out parenting styles for toddlers. Results: Based on the results of the correlation analysis between family parenting on nutritional status of children under five who used Fisher’s Exact Test obtained a significant value of 0.630 (p> 0.05) which means that H0 is accepted so there is no correlation between family parenting on nutritional status of children under five in RW 01 Karangwaru. Conclusion: Parenting toddlers in great category. Most of the nutritional status of children under five is in the great nutrition category. The results of the analysis of the two variables showed that there was no relationship between family parenting on nutritional status of children under five in RW 01 Karangwaru Village Tegalrejo District Yogyakarta.en_US
