dc.description | This study aims to: (1) find bullying acts of students, (2) learn to understand Islamic Religious Education teachers about character education in tackling bullying behavior, (3) analyze strategies such as what Islamic Religious Education teachers have done in tackling behavior bullying at Muhammadiyah 5 High School Yogyakarta. This type of field research, qualitative research with research subjects are 2 Islamic Religious Education teachers and 3 students of Muhammadiyah 5 Yogyakarta High School as victims of bullying. Data collected through interviews, observation and documentation. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model by completing data reduction, data model (data display) and verification of conclusions. (1) Bullying behavior that often occurs is categorized into two namely physical bullying and verbal bullying (2) Bullying countermeasures program, a) Conducting character education in each of its learning through character-value assessments available on learning material. b) Connecting and integrating character education with students' daily lives. c) Has quite a different effect in applying the character of education in tackling bullying behavior. dc.description.abstract | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menemukan tindakan perilaku bullying
peerta didik yang terjadi, (2) mengetahui pemahaman guru Pendidikan Agama Islam tentang pendidikan karakter dalam menanggulangi perilaku bullying, (3) menganalisis strategi seperti apa yang telah dilakukan guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam menanggulangi perilaku bullying di SMA Muhammadiyah 5 Yogyakarta. Jenis penelitian lapangan, melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan subyek kriteria penelitian yaitu 2 guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dan 3 siswa SMA Muhammadiyah 5 Yogyakarta sebagai korban bullying. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman dengan tahapan reduksi data, model data (data display) dan verifikasi kesimpulan. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa (1) Perilaku bullying yang sering terjadi dikategorikan menjadi dua yaitu bullying fisik dan bullying verbal, (2) Program penanggulangan perilaku bullying, yaitu a) Melakukan penerapan pendidikan karakter pada setiap pembelajarannya melalui nilai-nilai karakter yang terdapat pada materi pembelajaran. b) Mengkoneksikan dan mengintergrasikan pendidikan karakter dengan kehidupan sehari-hari siswa. c) Memiliki dampak yang cukup berbeda ketika pendidikan karakter diterapkan dalam menanggulangi perilaku bullying walaupun sedikit perbedaannya. (3) Penanggulangan perilaku bullying di SMA Muhammadiyah 5 Yogyakarta oleh guru PAI dengan tahapan yaitu a) Melakukan pertemuan dengan siswa terlebih dahulu secara internal. b) Memberikan pembinaan, bimbingan dan pengawasan kepada siswa secara bertahap. c) Melakukan pemanggilan orang tua ketika permasalahan tersebut sudah besar. | en_US |
