Background: Stroke is a disorder of brain function that occurs due to impaired blood vascularization in the brain that occurs within 24 hours or more and can cause death. Stroke results in paralysis of the sides of the body accompanied by numbness or paralysis of the face of the mouth which results in speech that is not smooth and clear, changes in consciousness, impaired vision, and difficulty understanding in communication which in the long term results in impairment, disability, and handicap that significantly affect the quality of life of patients so rehabilitation is needed to improve the level of quality of life of patients. Objective: To determine and analyze the correlation between rehabilitation adherence with the level of quality of life of stroke patients assessed using SF-36. Methods: An analytic observational study design with a correlation study (correlation / association), a cross sectional study using 125 accidental sampling techniques. Selection of consecutive samples according to inclusion and exclusion criteria. The research instruments were demographic data questionnaire, Short Form-36, and Morinsky Medication Adherence Scale (MMAS) Results: The majority of respondents aged 55-64 years (34.9%), male sex (64%), working (64%), elementary school education (32.8%), had undergone rehabilitation for 2-6 month (37.6%), low rehab affiliation and 34% poor quality of life (54.8%). Correlation results of Rehabilitation Compliance with Quality of Life of Post-Stroke Patients obtained a significance value (pValue) of 0.001 (p <0.05) with a correlation strength (r) of 0.418. Conclusion: There is a correlation between rehabilitation adherence to the quality of life of patients after stroke. The level of education as a disruptive variable also affects the quality of life of patients after stroke. It is recommended that further researchers conduct research by the Cohort method, and the research time is longer and more effective.en_US
