| dc.description.abstract | A research aims to identify and evaluate the green line on the main road
Purwodadi city and provide recomendations on the selection and arrangement of
plants on the roadside, and evaluate the suitability of the application of the green
lines which is has a function as air absorbers, noise absorbers, shade, security and
aesthetics.
This method of this research was carried out with survey method or
observation directly in the field, interviews, and literature studies. The selection of
research locations using the purposeive method, random sampling method and data
analysis with descriptive method.
The result of this research showed that, (1) plants in the green lane of the
main road Purwodadi city, especially Purwodadi-Semarang road and Purwodari-
Blora road does not have the proper function, (2) the condition of Purwodadi-
Semarang road and Purwodadi-Blora road, there is no road green plant that
function as an absorbent of pollutants, noise absorbers, shade, security, and
forming aesthetic values so rearrangements are needed. | en_US |
