| dc.description.abstract | The Government of Indonesia for the period 2014-2019 develop the concept of developing Indonesia from the rural area. Indonesia's development from the rural area is strengthened with the passing of the Villages Act. Changes in the development paradigm and village authority from authority in the field of village governance, implementation of village development, fostering village communities, and empowerment of rural communities require the support of village information systems. The Village Information System has even been explicitly stated in the Villages Act, which is in article 86 concerning the Village Development Information System and Rural Area Development. The management using the Village Information System has become a basic requirement, so that in this PKM program Village Information System is implemented in Barepan Village, Cawas District, Klaten Regency. This system could help villages to manage data and information in the village, which can be utilized in community service activities, managing village potentials, promoting village excellence, and transparency in village development. | en_US |
