dc.descriptionKesulitan belajar siswa akan menghambat penguasaan materi pelajaran. Kesulitan belajar dapat dialami oleh siswa dengan IQ normal karena adanya sikap dan perilaku yang menghambat dalam proses belajarnya. Sejumlah kesulitan yang dialami siswa dalam proses belajar mengajar dapat dilihat pada suasana belajar, lingkungan belajar, landasan belajar, dan rancangan pembelajaran. Kesulitan dalam proses belajar lebih banyak mengkaji bagaimana interaksi antara siswa, guru, lingkungan, landasan belajar dan bagaimana rancangan proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis: 1) kesulitan-kesulitan belajar yang dialami siswa, 2) faktor-faktor penyebab siswa, dan 3) upaya guru dalam manfasilitasi siswa mengatasi kesulitan menguasai materi pelajaran di SMK Muhammadiyah I Kota Tegal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian campuran/kombinasi (mixed methodology). Tempat penelitian di SMK Muhammadiyah I Kota Tegal tahun 2017. Data dikumpulkan melalui survei kepada 150 siswa, focus group discussion, wawancara, dan observasi lapangan serta dokumentasi. Kredibilitas data dilakukan dengan teknik triangulasi. riangulasi yang dimaksud yaitu melakukan cross check antar responden (triangulasi sumber) dan cross check antar teknik pangumpulan data (triangulasi teknik) guna mendapatkan data dan informasi yang lebih valid dan kredibel. Analisis data kuantititatif yang didapat dari angket dalam penelitian ini diolah dengan tabel distribusi sederhana. Analisis data pada penelitian kualitatif naturalistik secara umum mengandung 3 (tiga) kegiatan yang saling terkait, yaitu (1) kegiatan mereduksi data, (2) menampilkan data dan (3) melakukan verifikasi untuk membuat kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada ada 33,7% dari jumlah siswa yang merasakan adanya kesulitan belajar. Kesulitan belajar yang dihadapi siswa selama proses belajar mengajar yaitu cepat bosan, mudah lupa, sulit berkonsentrasi, malas dan cepat lelah. Kesulitan belajar disebabkan oleh suasana belajar kurang mendukung, landasan belajar yang kurang kuat, lingkungan belajar, perancangan pengajaran, dan penyampaian materi pelajaran. Peran guru dalam upaya membantu mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa yaitu: 1) menciptakan suasana belajar, yang meliputi: mengingatkan, memotivasi, menasihati, mengawasi, mencairkan suasana, dan menampilkan keteladanan, 2) menyediakan sarana dan prasarana pendidikan yang memadai, 3) merancang pembelajaran, 4) memberikan layanan bimbingan dan konseling, dan meningkatkan skill guru.en_US
dc.description.abstractDifficulties faced by students are not only related to the mastery of subject matter, but also related to the process of learning and teaching. A number of difficulties experienced by students in the teaching and learning process can be seen in the learning atmosphere, learning environment, learning foundation, and learning design. Difficulties in the learning process are more about how the interaction between students, teachers, environment, learning foundation and how the learning process is designed. This study aims to determine and analyze: 1) learning difficulties experienced by students, 2) factors that cause students, and 3) the teacher's efforts in facilitating students to overcome difficulties in mastering the subject matter in the Muhammadiyah I Vocational High School in Tegal City. The research method used in this study is a mixed methodology. Research site in Tegal City Muhammadiyah I Vocational School in 2017. Data was collected through surveys, interviews, and field observations and documentation. Data credibility is done by triangulation techniques. The triangulation in question is to cross check between respondents (source triangulation) and cross check between data collection techniques (technical triangulation) to obtain more valid and credible data and information. Quantitative data analysis obtained from the questionnaire in this study was processed with a simple distribution table. Data analysis in naturalistic qualitative research generally contains 3 (three) interrelated activities, namely (1) data reduction activities, (2) data display and (3) verification to make conclusions. The results showed there were 33,7% of students who felt learning difficulties. Learning difficulties faced by students during the teaching and learning process are caused by a less supportive learning atmosphere, a lack of strong learning foundation, learning environment, teaching design, and delivery of subject matter. The role of the teacher in an effort to help overcome student learning difficulties are: 1) creating an atmosphere of learning, which includes: reminding, motivating, advising, supervising, withdrawing the atmosphere, and displaying exemplary, 2) providing adequate educational facilities and infrastructure, 3) designing learning, 4) provide guidance and counseling services, and improve teacher skillsen_US
