dc.description.abstractstress in the body and MDA as an indicator of lipid peroxidation. This study aims to determine the effect of hyperglycemia on MDA levels as a predictor of oxidative stress in the rat model of a diabetic. Method : It is an experimental study using male Wistar rats, 8-10-week-old, bodyweight of 200-250 grams. Diabetic STZ induction used (streptozocin) injection 45 mg/kg BW and NA (Nicotinamide) 110 mg/kg BW . Three days after induction, blood glucose level increaseD (> 250 mg/dl) in a diabetic state. Blood Glucose Level and MDA level were examined in H-0, H-7, H-14, H-21, and H-28 each group using 3 rats. Data were analyzed using one-way ANOVA and correlation with SPSS. Result S And Analysys : The results of this study showed that there was an increase of Blood Glucose Level and MDA level on H-0, H-7, H-14, H-21, and H-28. The peak of Blood Glucose Level on H-14 was stable but remained high. MDA level also increased, and the peak level was on H-28. Furthermore, there was significant increases in Blood Glucose level and MDA (p = 0.001). Correlation analysis showed that there is a strong correlation between Blood Glucose Level and MDA level (r = 0.728).en_US
