dc.description.abstractSocial identity is a part of an individual's self-perception that arises from the individual's knowlede that he belongs to certain groups together with some emotional and value significance to him of this membership. This study shows how role of assessment of social identity on the relationship between organizational justice and organizational citizenship behavior. Many studies have shown that organizational justice have much effort on attitude and behavior of individuals within organizational, while on the other hand, organizational citizenship behavior is a behavior that affects the performance of outside formal duties that arise when individuals are satisfied in their jobs. Ultimately organizational citizenship behavior encourages effective organizational performance. Meanwhile, social identity reflects the degree of cognitively people who associate themselves and their status with the organization, whether they have a tendency to in-group or out-group with the social environment organization. From this study the researcher builds propositions that social identity (in-group/out-group) moderates the influence of each type of organizational justice on organizational citizenship behavior. Great role of social out-group identity is stronger that the social in-group identity. Here, intepretive approach helps further understanding of the behavioral studies related organizational justice, social identity and organizational citizenship behavior.en_US
