| dc.description | Modernitas yang ditandai dengan lahirnya perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan tekhnologi faktanya tidak selalu berdampak positif bagi masyarakat. Oleh karena di sisi yang lain, hadirnya modernitas ditengah-tengah masyarakat cenderung mendorong perilaku individu manusia menjadi hedonis dan jauh dari tujuan aspek spiritual kemanusiaannya. Kecenderungan individu dalam masyarakat modern yang demikian akut ini tentu menjadi masalah tersendiri. Pada akhirnya kecenderungan ini akan membawa masyarakat pada situasi dimana masyarakatnya mengalami degradasi moral.
Upaya untuk menjawab persoalan ini setiap individu manusia harus memahami apa tujuan hidupnya dan untuk itu hal pertama dan terutama ialah individu manusia harus mengenal dirinya. Dalam hal ini, esensi manusia tidak terlepas dari jiwa. Karena manusia sebagai manifestasi Tuhan, ia mampu menjalin hubungan transenden melalui segenap usaha dan upaya yang dilakukan jiwa dengan mengarahkan kesadaran serta merealisasikannya untuk tujuan kebenaran. Kesadaran jiwa menuju kebenaran inilah yang dimaksud spiritualitas.
Penelitian yang berjudul spiritualitas dalam film ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana spiritualitas dalam film. Objek penelitian yang mengacu pada film Gandhi karya Richard Attenborough sengaja penulis angkat karena penulis menyadari bahwa film ini menggambarkan perjalanan spiritualitas Mahatma Gandhi. Hal ini penulis dapatkan melalui hasil analisa dan pembahasan dalam penelitian di mana spiritualitas dalam film digambarkan adalah jiwa yang sadar akan kedekatannya dengan Tuhan tidak akan melepaskan beberapa aspek dalam kehidupan sehari-harinya yakni ritual, keadilan dan cinta. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Modernity is characterised by the inception of the development of science and technology in fact is not always a positive impact for the community. Therefore, on the other hand, the presence of modernity amongst the people tend to encourage individual human behavior into a hedonist and away from the goal of the spiritual aspects of his humanity. The tendency of the individual in modern society are so acute it's certainly become a problem unto it self. In the end this trend will bring the community in situations where the moral degradation of the society is experiencing. An attempt to answer this question every individual human being must understand what the purpose of his life and for that it is first and foremost an individual man should know himself. In this case, the essence of the human soul. Because humans as manifestation of God, he was able to establish rapport transcendent through all our efforts and the efforts made and direct awareness as well as make it possible for the purpose of truth. The consciousness of the soul towards truth is spirituality. The study, entitled spirituality in this film aims to find out how spirituality in film. Research object that refers to the film Gandhi by Richard Attenborough author intentionally lift because the author realized that the film portrays the spirituality of Mahatma Gandhi.
