Research about weed propagules distribution at different depths in the soil was conducted to determine the number of propagules in any depth of soil from a wide range of soil conditions. This research conducted in the greenhouse agriculture faculty University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta concealment of July until August 2016. Reseach conducted using the method of single factor experiments were arranged in a completely randomized design. The treatment being tested is the condition of area which comprises 4 types of land formerly used for rice, corn, soybean, and sugar cane respectively located at a depth of 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25 cm in order to obtain 20 treatment. Each treatment was repeated 3 times and each unit so that composite sample was obtained 60 unit treatment. Weed observation data were analyzed using analysis of variance to determine the effect of treatment. If there is a real effect among treatments, then it will continue using Duncan’s Multiple Range Test at α 5% error rate. Propagules are at different depths in the soil, at a depth of 1-5 cm higher weed populations can be seen from the number of individuals weeds. The condition of the former land rice plant has a number of weeds higher than the condition of the former land of maize, soybean and sugar cane. Vegetation composition of various soil depth and soil conditions are not same, except on the soil depth of 20 cm in the former land of corn and soybean crops.en_US
