A study, entitled “Effectiveness Test Feather Meal as a Source of Nitrogen on Growth and Corp Sweet Corn (Zea mays L. Saccharata) in Regosol Soil”, was conducted from May up to August 2016 in the experimental land of Faculty Agriculture Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, aimed to know the effectiveness of the usage of the element nitrogen from feather meal on the growth and yield of sweet corn, and to determine dose of the best feather meal for the growth and yield of sweet corn. This method is done by using of experimental method with a single factor. This experiment were arranged by completely randomized design. The treatments tested are six doses of feather meal and one control that there are seven levels, namely: 766 kg/ha feather meal (14,36 g/plant); 920 kg/ha feather meal (17,25 g/plant); 1150 kg/ha feather meal (21,56 g/plant); 1533 kg/ha feather meal (28,74 g/plant); 2300 kg/ha feather meal (43,12 g/plant); 4600 kg/ha feather meal (86,25 g/plant); and 300 kg/ha Urea (5,62 g/plant). The result showed that feather meal as a source of nitrogen on the growth and yield of sweet corn provides effective result. The dose of the best feather meal for sweet corn yield is at a dose of 2300 kg/hectare.en_US
