This research, entitled "Utilization of Sugarcane Bagasse Charcoal Briquette-Azolla Cultivating Chilli Red Curly in Sandy Land Samas Beach, Bantul" field trials have been conducted in the University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta in May to September 2016. This research aims to obtain the proper balance of briquettes dose combination bagas cane-Azolla to increase the growth and yield of pepper plants in the ground curly red sand beach. This research was conducted using experiments methods arranged in a completely randomized design (CRD) with single factor treatment design consisting of 4 treatments. The treatment in the test: A (Control) 80 kilograms N / hectare Manure, treatment B (20 kilograms N / hectare Bagasse Sugar Cane + 60 kilograms N / hectare Azolla), treatment C (40 kilograms N / hectare Bagasse Sugar Cane + 40 kilograms N / hectare Azolla) and treatment D (60 kilograms N / hectare of sugar cane Bagasse + 20 kilograms N / hectare Azolla). Each treatment was repeated 4 times, resulting into 16 experimental units, each unit there are three sample experiments, in order to obtain 48 units of trial. The parameters observed were plant’s height, plant’s fresh weight, plant’s dry weight, and the result of plants per hectare. The results showed that the briquettes can be potential and replace manure in sandy soil Samas Beach, Bantul at a dose of 40 Kg N-sugarcane bagasse / hectare + 40 Kg N-Azolla / hectare and at a dose of 60 Kg N-sugarcane bagasse / hectare + 20 kg N -azolla / hectare.en_US
