dc.description.abstract	Background : Smoking is a bad habit which certainly affects our health. Cigarette produces abundant free radicals in the body, glutation reduce , influence fiber of lens, opacity of lens, induce cataract. In Indonesia, especially in Yogyakarta special territory, cigarettes with and without filters are the most widely consumed (>50%). These kinds of cigarettes are not easily found in other countries. Objective : to identify the correlation between smoking habit and cataract.
