Hormone contraception devices (injection and implant) are one of the means in our efforts in spacing child births in a family. As a foreign subtance to thee body, hormone contraception devices could stimulate the generation of free radicals. Free radicals could cause lipid peroxsidation, which could increase plasma LDL cholestrerol concentration. Although in the body uric acid is available as an aqueus antioxidant against free radical attact, but the large number of free radicals could decrease plasma uric acid concentration. The goal of the research was to assert the effect of injection and implant of contraception devices on the risk of being sensible to cardiovasculer disease due to LDL concentration.
