The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of public ownership, DER (Debt to Equity Ratio), company size and leverage operation of income smoothing operation practice. This study use the sample of companies which are listed on the index KOMPAS100. Purposive sampling method is used to determine the sample in accordance with the required criteria, thus, sample of 39 companies are founded within three years range of time, consequently revealing data coming from 117companies. This research was conducted with quantitative and analytical methods namely binary logistic regression. This study shows that public ownership, DER (Debt to Equity Ratio), company size and leverage operation have no effect on the practice of income smoothing
