PERAN INGO “SAVE THE CHILDREN” DALAM MENANGANI KASUS EKSPLOITASI SEKSUAL KOMERSIAL ANAK DI INDONESIA TAHUN 2010-2015
Abstract
The Commercial Sexual Exploitation Of Children (CSEC) is one of the problems that faced by developing countries including Indonesia, in this case the children who supposed to get protection and their rights are used as sexual objects and commercial by irresponsible parties to get the benefits from it.
The Indonesian government as the main actor who provide protection to children, strive to overcome the problem of CSEC in Indonesia through the policies about the handling and the prevention efforts of CSEC in Indonesia. In 2010, Save the Children as an International Non-Governmental Organization (INGO) who care about the protection and children’s problem strive for the children that involved into CSEC can get out from the CSEC situation and regain their rights.
This thesis will research about the reason Save the Children participated in addressing the problems of CSEC in Indonesia and the role of Save the Children in the case of Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children in Indonesia from 2010 until 2015.
