dc.description | The high volume of plastic wastes in Indonesia, driving the Ministry of Environmental and Forests issued paid plastic bag policy to cope this problem. In this research, the factors that influencing consumer behavior and the influence of demographic factors on green consumer behavior to bring their own shopping bag being analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis and ANOVA with approach theory of reasoned action. Based on the results of monitoring and evaluation of paid plastic bag policy implementation in Semarang, number of the use of plastic bag are still high. The results showed that there are three primary factors that have a positive impact, significantly, on green consumer behavior to bring their own shopping bag, it is environmental concern, social influence, and Government’s role. Meanwhile, the education level is the demographic factors that influence green consumer behavior by bring their own shopping bags. Based on these factors, the formulation and selection of strategies regarding the continued paid plastic bag policy which being applied in Semarang use individual depth interview and Delphi method. There are fourteen strategies needed to be implemented to minimize the use of plastic bags. | en_US |
