| dc.description.abstract | After two decades U.S punishment economic embargo to Cuba, but now in
Obama‟s administration changes it all. On December 17th 2014, it was announced
that the U.S government would engage in diplomatic negotiations with Cuba.
These negotiations would address reopening fill diplomatic and commercial dies
between the two neighbouring countries. Obama changes the administration after
10 previews precidents., what Obama‟s interest behind the normalization? It is
argue that two Obama‟s interest, namely political interest and economic interest.
From the political interest Obama‟s trying to restore the U.S image in
Latin America pasca loosing the hegemony, human right violations up to re-open
the new administration about travel and remittances. From the economic interest,
Obama‟s changes the administration after Cuba changes to the administration
about the new Cuban economic. And than spread to long-terms investment. That‟s
it the conclusion about U.S-Cuba relations in the new era under Obama‟s
