      Abstract
      The aim of this research is to know how the Iran government strategy to solve the oil embargo sanction that enacted by United States in 2012. Iran is the largest countries that produced oil in the world. Iran as one of the largest oil producing countries in the world. Oil and natural gas as the main revenue of Iran is able to bring the Iran’s economy keep on increasing. Economic upgrades are also supported by nuclear program that Iran’s developed. Iran’s nuclear program got a negative response from the United States which regarded it as an international threat. Right in 2012, The United States officially imposed sanction on Iran’s embargo. Iran’s economic situation began to deteriorate. The difficulty of Iran getting import basic materials, the value of the currency decreased, and others. To resolve that situation, Iran has implemented several strategies to tackle sanctions for an oil embargo imposed by The United States. First, a confrontational strategy: 1. Iran exports oil to the Asian countries; 2. Reduction of oil supply; 3. Closure of the Strait of Hormuz. Second, an accomodative strategy; Iran’s efforts to negotiate with the P5+1 countries to produce an agreement which is Iran’s goal to come up with a deal that Iran’s aim is.
