Erdogan is the president of Turkey since 2014. Erdogan’s service as president of Turkey, made Turkish people faced many problems. This thesis will investigate the role of Erdogan, as the Turkish president in making policy on the freedom of press in Turkey. I am interested in analyzing the background of Erdogan on limiting the press freedom in Turkey. Freedom of the press in Turkey became one of the big problems for the Turkish government. Freedom of the press in Turkey is limited by Erdogan .I believes that the policies made by Erdogan greatly affect the media and journalists in Turkey. Many of the press in Turkey were getting a lot of problems after Erdogan's policy of limiting the press freedom in Turkey. Because of that I interested examining more clearly the reasons of Erdogan in making the policy.
