As one of the welfare states in the world and the first European country where women gained the full political rights, Finland proved that gender equity policies that implemented in the country cannot be separated from the efforts of women movement that emerged since the era before independence and continuously participate to support the voice of women until the 21st century. The process of advocacies start from the base-work by creating and grouping the women movement; secondly, by collecting support from the international actor such as women movement in Europe; and lastly, the front-line work by submitting the applications regarding all the gender inequity issues that happened in Finland. Furthermore, the data on this research is secondary data from books, website, and other sources. The author, by conducting this study, is also using the qualitative analysis techniques.
