dc.description.abstractThe focus of this study is disscuses the impact of the indian nuclear development against the security conditions of south Asia Region. This research tries to explain how the relationship between countries in South Asia region amid rising nuclear power of India. India was plan about nuclear buildup since three years before independence. On 18 may 1974 India did the first nuclear test, known as the peaceful nuclear explosion. At first, India was develop nuclear for peaceful purposes. But, given the regional condition that is increasingly unstable, india moving to develop nuclear weapons. This study found that the increase in the nuclear development strength in India, supported by the growing India economy, the conflict between India and Pakistan, as well as to emphasize the political and military authorities of India towards the Indian Ocean. Therefore, India did modernisasi nuclear technology by land, sea, and air. Besides India also improve defense and security at land borders and sea. The impact occured arms race, the strugle for hegemony between India, Pakistan and China in South Asia, and Indian nuclear proliferation.en_US
