dc.description.abstractThis research entitles: The influence of parenting method and Islamic religious education (PAI) learning toward the morals of mentally disabled children. The objective of the research is to reveal whether or not parenting method and PAI learning influence the morals of mentally disabled children either partially or simultaneously. The research use quantitative correlational descriptive method, in which the sample was taken through random sampling. The research was conducted at extraordinary state elementary school (SDLDB) of Kroya Cilacap. Data was compiled through questionnaire, observation and interview. Further, the data was analyzed descriptively, t test, linear regression and multiple regression. The result indicates that parenting method most likely be used is authoritative method. PAI learning and children morals are tend to be categorized as good. Hypothesis test shows that: (1) parenting method used by parents gives significant influence toward the morals of mentally disabled children. (2) PAI learning doesn’t give significant influence toward the morals of mentally disabled children. (3) parenting method and PAI learning simultaneously give significant influence toward the morals of mentally disabled children.en_US
