This paper proposes a wind power generation model using the doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) system as a unit of distributed generator. The wind turbine driven by DFIG is a part of distributed generation which feeds ac power to the distribution network. The system is modeled and simulated in the Matlab Simulink environment.
