As the world’s second largest economy, People’s Republic of China needs a currency with international status that can match its economic status in the global economy. PRC’s government considers the policy to internationalize Yuan currency become necessary. In October 2016, China’s government succeeds to make Yuan as one of International Currency in global economy scope. This research tries to explain PRC’s efforts in Yuan internationalization process and also the implication of RMB internationalization.
