ABSTRACT This study aimed to know the readiness comparison of APITU KALTIM with the manpower in other areas. The sample of this study was the members of Asosiasi Praktisi Pendingin dan Tata Udara Kalimantan Timur (Association of Practitioner Refrigeration and Air Conditioner of East Kalimantan). The number of the sample was 150 respondents which were chosen using saturation sample method. To analyze the data, the researcher used Multiple Regression Analysis and MRA (Moderate Regression Analysis). Before analyzing the data, the researcher tested the instrument quality which consisted of test of validity and reliability. Based on the analysis which had been done, the result showed that knowledge and skill significantly influenced the worker readiness of APITU members in facing MEA 2017. Moreover, self-efficacy did not have influence in moderating the readiness of APITU members in facing MEA 2017.
