dc.description.abstract | The Trafficking Victims Protection Act (TVPA) enacted in 2000 was aimed at combating trafficking in persons, whose victims are predominantly women and children, to ensure punishment of traffickers and to protect its victims. The TVPRA enhances the U.S. ability to combat trafficking in persons by extending and improving prosecutorial and diplomatic tools, and also adds new protections for victims. This undergraduate thesis aims to analyze on how the implementation of Trafficking Victims Protection Act. This thesis also tell the readers how USA treat the victims of human trafficking.
