      Abstract
Cyclamate is one of the sweeteners synthetic that is often used to the various types of food products. Determining the concentration of cyclamate in energy drinks with registration number POMSD152246XXX has been performed using High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) with aim to knowing accordance concentration of cyclamates in the sample with the requirements according to the decree of head of BPOM 2004. In this analysis, HPLC is used reversed-phase column with a stationary phase coloum C18, particle size 10 μm (3,9 x 300 nm), mobile phase of buffer phospate pH 3,5 : acetonitrile (80:20), UV-Vis detector at 195 nm wavelenght measurements. Separation of cyclamate through isocratic elution technicue with a flow rate of 1 ml/min and 20 μl injection volume. The result showed the value of coefficient correlation (r) 0,9999; limit of detection (LOD) 2,22 x 10 -3 g/kg; limit of quantitation (LOQ) 7,399 x 10-3 g/kg. Determining concentration of cyclamates in sample is 0,47 ± 0,058 g/kg ingredients. That is not exceed the requirements according to the decree of head of BPOM 2004, which is 1,25 g/kg ingredients.
