dc.description.abstract | Background: Hypertension is the third leading cause of death after stroke and tuberculosis at all ages with a mortality rate of 6.8% of all deaths in all ages in Indonesia, which is associated with poor medical control. It has been recommended that people with hypertension for routine control 2 weeks. The success of blood pressure control is influenced by levels of knowledge, family support, the role of health care workers and control motivation. Objective: To determine the factors that influence the management of blood pressure control in hypertensive patients at Puskesmas Gondokusuman II. Method: This research was descriptive corelational research with cross-sectional method. It used univariate and bivariate analyzes. The population were 247 people and the sample were 37 people. The sampling technique uses accidental sampling. Results: The study was conducted at Puskesmas Gondokusuman II. The chi-square test results showed a significant relationship between knowledge level (0.002), family support (0,000), health officer role (0.008) and control motivation (0.001). Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between the level of knowledge, family support, the role of health care workers and the motivation of control with the management of blood pressure control. Suggestion: Primary health center are expected to improve and maintain health promotion programs on the importance of routine blood pressure control for hypertensive patients. | en_US |
