Background: Adolescent smoking behavior is one of diverge behavior and againts syariah Islam. Parents must educate their children well so it can dercrease effects of smoking behavior. Objective: this research aimed to discover the correlation between Islamic parenting with adolescent smoking behavior. Method: this research used 83 respondents from 4 public junior high school choosen by random sampling. Quantutative and fulfill it inclusion criteria. All of respondents filled questionnare about Islamic parenting and smoking behavior. Data from Islamic parenting questionnare was valid with r value of Correlation PearsonProduct Moment was 0,404-0,698 and also reliable with score 0,803. Analytic method done by Chi Square. Result: respondents were 12-16 years old, divided to 182 boys and 201 girls. Islamic parenting score showed low/on good (51,7%) and adolescent’s smoker were 82 (21,4%). Chi Square result showed p value = 0,398 (> 0,05) Conclusion: there is no correlation between Islamic parenting and adolescent smoking behavior
