      Abstract
      This article discusses the increase of learning motivation of Al-Islam through Cooperative Learning method by using Card Sort media. The exposure of this article is based on the results of classroom action research (PTK) with the subjects of class XI students Computer and Network (TKJ) SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Turi Sleman, 2013/2014 with a total of 27 students. Research data obtained through participatory observation, classroom activity observation, and measurement of learning outcomes. According to the type of research, the data were analyzed qualitatively. The results showed that the use of Cooperative Learning method with Card Sort media can improve learning motivation and facilitate students' understanding of class XI Computer Engineering and Network (TKJ) SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Turi in studying the subjects of Al-Islam. It is also known that the implementation of Cooperative Learning with Card Sort media in Al-Islam learning is easy and simple. Moreover, the application of such methods can improve the effectiveness of Al-Islam learning.
