      Abstract
      The realization of human source owning virtuous characteristics, and knowing values related to human interaction with nature, and God which is the ultimate goal of life can’t be separated from the existence of norms within society which regulates the society itself. In maximizing the role of Islamic boarding school, the female student dormitory has specifically created regulation for its students which needs to be conducted by the respective female students. Self-regulation is psychological factor related to disciplinary act. The research is aimed at identifying how female students implement self-regulation in obeying Islamic boarding school regulations, at identifying internal and external factor that influence self-regulation, and at identifying the difference between class VIII and class XI. The subject of the research was female students of class VIII and class XI at Assalam Modern Islamic Boarding School Temanggung. Total number of the subject in the research was 8 people. Sample was taken using purposive sampling technique. Data was analyzed through interview, and observation. The result of the research conducted through the interview shows that female students implement self-regulation by always remembering their initial purpose of enroll themselves to the Islamic Boarding House. The result indicates that there is significant correlation between self-regulation and the way female students obeying the boarding school’s regulation.
