Yogyakarta - Wonosari road is an artery road connecting Yogyakarta City and Gunung Kidul Regency. There have been 187 accidents (2012-2016) which are generally caused by road factors. Therefore it is necessary to conduct safety inspection on this road segment. This study aims to conduct road geometric and equipment safety inspection, and analyse pavement structure condition. This research begins with literature study, primary survey (road geometric, road equipment and pavement structure condition) and secondary survey (traffic accident data) that used for analysis refers to the prevailing regulations. The results showed that there were 5 horizontal alignments (1 SS, 4 SCS) where road pavement widening on curve does not meet the requirement (only 1.8 meters), stopping distance 106.51 meters and viewing distance 441.95 meters (meet the requirement), most of road equipment has not meet the requirement in procurement, placement, and maintenance, and pavement structure condition index (PCI) is 78.75% (Very Good).
