The relationship of economic cooperation between Indonesia and the EU in the field of trade has been established for a long time. Trade between Indonesia and the European Union experienced has decreased on several occasions, for example in 2008 and 2011. In addition, the value of Indonesia's exports to the EU is still very small compared to the export value of other Asian countries. Therefore, Indonesia is required to create a policy that can increase trade between Indonesia and the European Union. This research aims to explain Indonesian policy to increase trade to the EU in 2008 until 2017. The analysis unit of this research is in economic cooperation, which in this research is the development cooperation program between Indonesia and EU. This type of research is qualitative, presented in verbal form, and emphasizes on the contextual concept. Data collection techniques used by the author is created through library research. The method of analysis used to analyze this research is descriptive or explanative.
