KONSEP MEKANISME PASAR IBNU KHALDUN DAN RELEVANSINYA TERHADAP KEMISKINAN DI INDONESIA
Abstract
The market is a mechanism of exchange of goods and services that are
natural and have been going on since the earliest human civilization. Islam puts
the market in a very important position, in the market economy has become more
attention than the classical scholars such as Abu Yusuf, Ibn Khaldun, Ibn
Taimiyah. In the Indonesian economy today, the necessities of life for Indonesians
are high but many Indonesians are still low income so there is a gap, if it is
allowed to happen then it will cause poverty will continue to happen and getting
worse.
This study aims to examine the relevance of Ibn Khaldun's market theory
theory of price with poverty in Indonesia, from the problem whether one of the
causes of poverty factor in Indonesia is about price, if seen from the data collected
the price of staple goods in rural more high from urban areas. This research is
qualitative, the method used in data collection is documentation of primary data and
secondary data and analysis of this research is deductive-inductive method is to
discuss from general thing then made to special thing so that can be obtained by
conclusion from that research.
The results of the research on the market mechanism of Ibnu khaldun
viewed in terms of price in 2016 there is a correlation between poverty with the
price level, where the price of basic staple food in rural areas is higher than urban,
and the level of rural poverty is higher and it is in accordance with the price
theory of Ibn Khaldun.
