Bingen Radio is a radio station owned by Bingen Cafe Palembang. Bingen Radio is is now only available in the form of conventional radio and web radio. In terms of use to access web radio is considered less effective because of the need to open a browser and type the url address to be listening web radio. One of the developed technology is streaming radio. Streaming radio is an audio broadcasting service transmitted via the internet. Access radio streaming can be done via mobile phone, computer, and all the gadgets and technologies that are equipped with internet connection. with the rise of the android smartphone that's currently being loved young people to access the radio streaming through android smartphone. This research was conducted to build an android-based streaming radio application for listening to radio broadcasts from Bingen Radio. This system is based on android by the programming language used is Java and database using MySQL. After doing the test with the method of black box it can be concluded that the application is running in accordance with the draft which has been created. With the streaming radio application android-based Radio Bingen android smartphone users can listen to radio broadcasts through their android device. In addition users can also view a list of program broadcasts radio broadcasts as well as event and also held promo Bingen Cafe.
