This research is aimed at describing the comprehension of Moslem youth of Karanganyar district toward Sharia banking, as well as at identifying the influencing factors of the comprehension of Moslem youth toward Sharia banking. This research is a study case with qualitative approach using descriptive analysis. Participative observation, semi-structured interview and documentation were technique used by writer to collect data which further was analyzed as the findings suggested during the research was being conducted. The subject of the research was Moslem youth at Karanganyar district aged 16-30 years old, those who are the management and active members of Islamic organizations at Karanganyar district. The results of the research were; first, that the comprehension of Moslem youth at Karanganyar district toward Sharia banking institution is generally categorized into a good level. Second, that the influencing factors of the comprehension of Moslem youth toward Sharia banking are age, education, socio-cultural environment, information, experience and individual needs which in this particular research is one’s religiosity.
