The background of this research explained about marriage and marriage regulation implementation in West Nusa Tenggara, especially in East Lombok. Marriage is the one of common life demands, then how lots of people doing under-age marriage and against the regulation about the minimum ages of marriage. There are under-age in East Lombok, this due to several factors, for example culture and religion factors, economic factor, and education factor. Because of this, the Government of West Nusa Tenggara made the Local Regulation Number 8/2015 about Women and Children Protection that has purpose to manage and dealing under-age marriage in West Nusa Tenggara. To implementing the Local Regulation in dealing the under-age marriage in East Lombok, some of government institutions of East Lombok that related to under-age marriage problems make some programs to decrease the under-age marriage cases. For the example socialization, make cooperation with more government institutions, and explore almost all villages in East Lombok. Meanwhile, based on the result of the research and observation in implementing the Local Regulation Number 8/2015 there are some issues that hamper it, such as no connecting between Local Regulation and Law Number 1/1974 about marriage, less budgeting and less human resources. Beside that the government institutions try to provide facilities and ways to implementing the Local Regulation to dealing the under-age marriage.
