This research is aimed to know parents’ strategy to build Indigo children’ characters and the obstacles faced by parents in educating their indigo children in Nusa Kambangan Denpasar. This research carried out descriptive method with qualitative data. This is a case study research aimed to understand an individual integratively and comprehensively. The data of the research were collected from observation, interview, and documentation. The subjects of the research were Mrs. Dewi, Mrs. Dewi Noor, and Mrs. Etriani who are the parents of indigo children namely Salsabila, Musa, and Evan. The findings of the research show that the strategies used by the parents to build their children’ characters have not been effective. There were some factors that became the obstacles for the parents in educating their children such as time limitation, environment and family factors.
