Decentralization policy allows local government to interact with international actors, particularly in the economic field. The cooperation between the government of Morowali regency and PT Sulawesi Mining Invesment brings a number of benefits to the region and communities, where Morowali regency is abundant with natural resources but lacks the ability to process it, while PT Sulawesi Mining Invesment comes with the capability of investing in the processing of natural resources in the form of nickel. The purpose of this study is to analyze the benefits of such cooperation seen from it is influence on regional income and employment. The data used is secondary data, with qualitative research. The result of the research showed that cooperation between the government of Morowali regency and PT Sulawesi Mining Invesment brings a positive influence to the increase of regional income and employment.
